Cheddar Valley u3a is a charity, number 1040522, registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales. Our registered address is Lake View, The Bays, Cheddar, BS27 3QW.

Our mission statement, approved by the Charity Commission in our constitution is to provide "the advancement of education, and in particular the education of older people and those retired from full time work, by all means including associated activities conducive to learning and personal development in Cheddar and the surrounding district."

We run a number of classes and special interest groups led individuals, who are supported by our committee of twelve trustees. These include:
