Many local restaurants and other food venues have been inspected and the menus tried. Some twenty or more of us enjoy the food and the resulting conversation.

In October the Lunch Club went to The Riverside Inn Cheddar. There were 35 of us this time but we managed to fit in. The original managers have returned, so it’s back to having great food and the staff did a wonderful job of serving everybody the right food very quickly. They were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

In November the Lunch Club visited at The Star, Bristol Road, BS25 1QE between Sidcot and Churchill. This was a new one for us but both Mary and myself have eaten in here and would give it 5 stars. They did a roast especially for us on the day.

In December we are back to the Red Cow Brent Knoll, TA94BE. This is a Christmas themed buffet.

All lunches are 12-30 for 1pm

The next Lunch Club meeting will be in March. We will booking for these lunches soon and when they’re full they’re full.
